HVAC Engineer - Building Services (M&E Division)

Location: Oxford
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Overtime + Vehicle + Excellent Benefits

The Opportunity

FM Search & Select are working in partnership with a leading Building Services and M&E Engineering company to recruit an experienced HVAC Engineer to join their growing division.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer with both Commercial Gas and Air Conditioning experience to join a well-established business offering long-term stability, varied work, and genuine career progression.

The Role
  • Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on boilers, burners, AHUs, VRV/VRF, and split systems.
  • Undertake small installation and upgrade works where required.
  • Ensure all works are completed to current regulations and health & safety standards.
  • Maintain clear service records, reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and the management team to ensure smooth project delivery.
The Person
  • Qualified in Commercial Gas (CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, CDGA1).
  • Holds FGAS Category 1 or City & Guilds 2079 qualification.
  • Strong experience across commercial HVAC systems - both heating and cooling.
  • Confident working independently or as part of a team on mobile contracts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving licence essential.
