Overview
HVAC Engineer required for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. Our client offers their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment. Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, JD Sports, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, and more.
Salary and Benefits
- Basic Salary up to £40,000 DOE (£50,000 pro rata for 5-day week)
- Working Hours - 6:30pm to 3am x 4 nights a week
- No call out rota whilst on night work (although may need to attend call outs whilst working)
- Company Van - Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
- Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months\' service - Up to £3,600 tax free
- Overtime paid at 1.5x

Role and Responsibilities
- The HVAC Engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF's, Split Units, Chillers, Chilled Fan Coil Units, AHUs & Cold Rooms
- Fan Coil Unit (FCU) Maintenance
- Locate and access FCUs across the site
- Remove, inspect, and clean FCU filters
- Conduct general inspections of FCUs to identify wear, damage, or inefficiencies
- Repairs and Remedial works as required
- BMS Operation
- Switch Building Management System (BMS) modes between heating and cooling as required
- Temperature Monitoring
- Record and monitor air-off temperatures to ensure system efficiency
- System & Documentation Management
- Add and update asset information on SolarVista (SV)
- Accurately complete maintenance sheets within SV
- Log and update defect reports in SV
- Complete Job Completion Reports (JCRs) and ensure timely job closure
Requirements
- Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (Not Essential)
- Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
- 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
- Full Driving Licence
- Experienced with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair
