Job description
Overview

HVAC Engineer required for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. Our client offers their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment. Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, JD Sports, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, and more.

Salary and Benefits
  • Basic Salary up to £40,000 DOE (£50,000 pro rata for 5-day week)
  • Working Hours - 6:30pm to 3am x 4 nights a week
  • No call out rota whilst on night work (although may need to attend call outs whilst working)
  • Company Van - Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
  • Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months\' service - Up to £3,600 tax free
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x

Role and Responsibilities
  • The HVAC Engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF's, Split Units, Chillers, Chilled Fan Coil Units, AHUs & Cold Rooms
  • Fan Coil Unit (FCU) Maintenance
  • Locate and access FCUs across the site
  • Remove, inspect, and clean FCU filters
  • Conduct general inspections of FCUs to identify wear, damage, or inefficiencies
  • Repairs and Remedial works as required
  • BMS Operation
  • Switch Building Management System (BMS) modes between heating and cooling as required
  • Temperature Monitoring
  • Record and monitor air-off temperatures to ensure system efficiency
  • System & Documentation Management
  • Add and update asset information on SolarVista (SV)
  • Accurately complete maintenance sheets within SV
  • Log and update defect reports in SV
  • Complete Job Completion Reports (JCRs) and ensure timely job closure
