Job summary

A design and build consultancy in Greater Manchester seeks an HVAC Design Engineer. This role involves producing mechanical designs from concept to detailed across all stages, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong HVAC design experience, preferably in highly regulated environments like pharmaceuticals or healthcare. A minimum HNC is required, with a degree being preferred. Excellent client communication skills and project coordination experience are also essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC in Building Services; a degree is preferred.
• Strong experience in HVAC design and mechanical building services.
• Experience with pharmaceutical/healthcare cleanroom projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce HVAC designs from concept to detailed design.
• Ensure designs meet safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and carry out site surveys.
