Job Title: HVAC Commissioning Engineer
Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire
Salary / Benefits £25k – £45k + Training + Benefits

Our client is an industry‑leading provider of HVAC / Commissioning and Water Treatment services. They are recruiting a HVAC Commissioning Engineer to cover contracts in the South Central region, with experience in Retail, Commercial and Industrial sites. Candidates should confidently carry out commissioning, balancing of air and water systems, audits of AHUs and testing airflow and pressure measurements. Experience leading projects and systems is beneficial. The client is happy to consider candidates at assistant level who have a good attitude and a keenness to develop and grow within the industry.

The successful candidate will work on contracts across the Oxfordshire and Berkshire area, with consideration for candidates based in Witney, Bicester, Abingdon, High Wycombe, Reading, Bracknell, Windsor, Woking, Guildford, Basingstoke, Newbury, Alton, Winchester, Aldershot, Farnham, Camberley, Reigate, Epsom, Crawley, Haslemere and Horsham.

Experience & Qualifications

• Background in the HVAC / Water Treatment industry, working for an established company.
• Ideally hold CSA Grades 1‑3.
• Excellent communication and time‑management skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Fully conversant with relevant Health and Safety legislations.

The Role

• Carry out fault finding on the client’s mixed portfolio of sites.
• Perform commissioning and balancing of air and water systems.
• Conduct critical ventilation testing.
• Undertake audits of air‑handling units (AHU) and perform required work.
• Test airflow and pressure measurements.
• Carry out air sampling, noise and environmental measurements.
• Complete test sheets upon completion of work and produce detailed reports for clients.
• Work in accordance with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
• Maintain excellent rapport with clients.
