A leading engineering solutions provider is seeking a Building Services Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary team. This hybrid role requires experience in HVAC design and knowledge of relevant legislation and standards. The engineer will develop engineering design substantiation, ensuring compliance with safety and operational requirements. The position is based in the UK, with the office located in Glasgow and site visits to Helensburgh being essential. SC Clearance is required due to the nature of the project.

Qualifications

• Building services design experience in HVAC discipline and supporting systems.
• Ability to analyse Psychrometric properties of air for HVAC design.
• Knowledge of key legislation and standards for building services.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Develop and maintain Engineering Design Substantiation for the Facility.
• Ensure compliance with Design Intent, Safety Factors, and Regulatory Requirements.

Skills

Building services design experience of HVAC discipline

Ability to analyse Psychrometric properties of air

Knowledge of legislation and standards for built environment

Familiarity with CIBSE guides and ASHRAE standards

Experience in producing written technical reports

Experience in authoring technical justification documentation

Experience on multi-discipline projects
