HV Maintenance Supervisor | Critical Environment | Slough, Berkshire | Static role | £68K + Package

We are actively recruiting for a HV Maintenance Supervisor / HV Engineering Supervisor to join a commercial maintenance / FM team, based in a state of the art, critical datacentre environment in Slough. As the High Voltage (HV) Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for over-seeing a team of, mechanical and HVAC Maintenance Engineers, switching schedules, while also performing hands on maintenance duties.

A large bulk of your role will involve over-seeing high voltage switching schedules, low voltage switching schedules, high voltage transformers, high voltage power supplies, UPS systems and other, similar critical systems, alongside general electrical, mechanical and HVAC maintenance (electrical maintenance, AHUs, FCUs, UPS, Motors, CRAC units etc).

As the supervisor, you will assist the team of engineers from a technical standpoint, ensure remedial reports are detailed and correct, over-see health and safety policies are adhered to on-site, review RAMS, permits etc. Ensure switching schedules and other compliance documentation is up to date and adhered to.

  • Base Salary: £65,000 - £68,000
  • Location: Farnborough, Hampshire (static site)
  • Employer: Leading UK, FM Provider
  • Holidays: 25 days pro rota to shift pattern.
  • Hours: 4 on, 4 off - days and nights (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am).

Requirements
  • Must be a qualified Electrician.
  • Must currently hold or previously have held high voltage authorised person (HVAP) or senior high voltage authorised person (HVSAP) status. Current is highly desirable.
  • Must have held experience in a maintenance position within a critical environment / on critical systems previously, i.e. Data Centre, Hospital, Banking or other mission critical 24/7 operation, or with equipment such as high voltage switching, UPS, CRAC units etc.
