Description

• Oversee and maintain high voltage electrical systems to ensure operational reliability and safety.
• The HV engineer will have the authority to operate the electrical distribution to ensure continuous supply to the site customers.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify potential issues proactively.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for high voltage equipment.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve system performance.
• Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and safety standards.
• Provide technical support during troubleshooting and fault resolution.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and practices.

Profile

• The role holder will be time served and have an indentured apprenticeship or will have a minimum of an HNC / SVQ in discipline engineering.
• The role holder will have a minimum of an HND / HNC in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification.
• The role holder must have experience in High Voltage switching operations and have operated as a Senior Authorised Person.
• Ideally you will come from an industrial sector background.
• Excellent communication skills.
