Job summary

UTM Consultants are seeking 12 experienced HV Cable Jointers/Technicians for offshore wind projects off Scotland, within 12 nm. Two-week rotations apply. Candidates should hold an electrical apprenticeship and relevant HV safety certifications, plus offshore project experience and CT nomination potential.

Qualifications

• HV qualifications and offshore safety certifications are required.
• Experience as HV Technician CT or willingness to be nominated for CT.
• Offshore commissioning or major construction project experience preferred.

Job description

UTM Consultants are looking to secure the services of 12 experienced HV Cable Jointers / Technicians to support one of our clients offshore wind projects. Location offshore Scotland, project site is within 12 nm.
Two week work rotations.

Personnel requirements include a combination of:

• Completed electrical apprenticeship
• Certification in NKT CB 72–150 and CC 72–1250 T?boot terminations.
• Certification in Pfisterer Seaanex Type 3a plug?in operations.
• PASMA Towers for Users (6.2 m)
• High Voltage: C&G HV Operational Safety
• GWO: BST, BTT, ART, Slinger Signaler
• Wind Turbine Safety Rules

Personnel experience must include:

• Previously nominated as HV Competent Technician CT, or Willingness to be nominated as a CT if not currently certified.
• Prior offshore commissioning or major construction project experience.
