Job summary

Exclusive Education invites applications for a Humanities Teacher in a secondary school in St Helens. The role starts in September and is ongoing, with responsibilities to lead KS3/KS4 classes and uphold high teaching standards.

Experience in Humanities subjects such as Geography, History or RE is desirable, and strong behaviour management is essential. The role is open to an ECT or a Qualified Teacher who can adhere to school policies and safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or equivalent (ECT welcome)
• Eligibility to work in the UK or UK resident
• DBS check held or willing to apply for one
• Two references covering the last 2 years

Humanities Teacher

Salary/Rate: £150 - £240 per day depending on experience

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a Humanities teacher to work in a Secondary School in St Helens. The role will start in September and will be ongoing. They are looking for a Humanities teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching to Key Stage 3 and 4 classrooms.

The School is looking to take on either an ECT or a Qualified Teacher for this role as long as the ideal candidate is able to implement strong behaviour management strategies whilst adhering to school policies. Previous teaching experience is desirable.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or a BA Hons
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children
• Previous Humanities, Geography, History and RE teaching experience
• Two references working with children covering the last 2 years
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
