Humanities Teacher
Location: Waltham Forest
Start Date: September 2025

We are excited to be working alongside a secondary school based in East London – Waltham Forest that is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join their team immediately. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone who is ready to inspire and engage students in the fascinating study of history, geography and RE.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the secondary school curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and progress.
  • Assess and monitor student achievement, providing constructive feedback to ensure improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and school initiatives.
  • Maintain excellent classroom management and uphold school policies.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
  • Proven experience teaching to secondary school students.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be available ASAP.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
