Job summary

Syngenta is seeking a Human Safety Technical Quality Manager to lead technical interfaces between internal experts, CROs and regulatory teams across EU submissions. You will shape technical strategy, dossier scope and authority-response plans to ensure scientifically robust, regulatory-ready filings.

In this role you will review CRO deliverables, drive governance and continuous improvement, and mentor teams to translate complex science into pragmatic regulatory decisions.

Qualifications

• Deep Human Safety expertise and strong knowledge of EU plant-protection product regulation.
• Proven experience delivering complex EU dossiers, submissions and authority responses.
• Experience providing technical quality oversight for CRO or outsourced work.
• Ability to turn complex scientific and regulatory issues into pragmatic recommendations.
• Strong planning, judgement and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent English.

Job Description

Join a pivotal, evolving team that is redefining how EU product authorisations are delivered. As the Human Safety Technical Quality Manager, you will provide the technical leadership that connects Human Safety experts, external CRO partners and regulatory projects ensuring every submission is scientifically robust, strategically positioned and ready to meet regulatory expectations. This is an opportunity to help shape an evolving business model and future ways of working. You will bring creativity to new approaches, build an extensive network across EU submission functions and work with a wide range of stakeholders. Drawing on emerging knowledge and practices from Product Safety and Regulatory, you will integrate these into Alliance projects and improve how work is delivered. The role offers broad exposure to the full EU end-to-end submission process, alongside hands-on involvement in key areas.
