We’re seeking an exceptional and experienced HR Professional to join us and it’s an exciting opportunity for the right person! This role’s primary focus will be supporting the creation of a Single Digital Team (SDT) across our three acute Hospital Trusts.

Provide HR Advice through interpretation of Human Resources Policies on a range of employee matters to all levels of staff and managers in line with our organisational values. This incorporates advice on Terms and Conditions of employment, Policies, Performance Management issues and all matters relating to the employment of staff.

Role Overview

Work as a key member of the Central HR Operations Team, ensuring achievement of the aims of the team, to:

  1. Deliver high quality HR solutions
  2. Provide consistent employee relations advice
  3. Improve management capability through access to HR Tools
  4. Improve management capability through coaching and development opportunities
  5. Enrich employee experience
  6. Act as a role model for the Trust PRIDE Values

  • Communicate complex information to a wide range of staff and managers at all levels of the organisation, e.g. explaining Terms and Conditions, advising on performance issues, and attendance management.
  • Interpret individual rights and responsibilities according to NHS Trust Policies and employment law; advise staff of good practice and anti‑discriminatory behaviour and legal consequence. Demonstrate good practice through personal example.
  • Understand the impact of the role of HR on quality. Contribute to improvements and assist managers to do the same in relation to staff management and impact on the service.
