HR Manager | City of London | Hybrid | up to £70K
A genuinely broad HR role for someone who knows how to operate with confidence, judgement and credibility.
We’re recruiting an experienced HR Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day people agenda for a specialist London-based business unit within a global organisation currently going through a period of change.
This isn’t a role where you’ll simply manage HR processes from a distance. You’ll be close to the business, working directly with senior leaders and employees and becoming a trusted, visible HR presence across the London population.
It’s a broad, hands-on generalist position covering everything from employee relations and recruitment through to organisational change, people data, performance and manager coaching.
You’ll take responsibility for a varied HR agenda, including:
We’re looking for an established HR Manager or experienced senior HR generalist who has developed a strong breadth of experience within a private-sector environment.
Your CV will demonstrate that you’ve genuinely operated across the HR lifecycle rather than specialising in just one area.
You’ll have strong UK employment law knowledge alongside demonstrable experience of employee relations, complex casework and organisational change/restructures. Experience within a global or matrix organisation would be particularly valuable. Just as importantly, we’re looking for someone with professional maturity and sound judgement.
The client group requires an HR professional who can read situations well, adapt their approach to different stakeholders and remain calm and credible when conversations become more challenging. You’ll need to be able to articulate your thinking confidently while communicating in a concise, clear and structured way.
You’ll know when to listen, when to challenge, when to coach and when someone simply needs a clear answer.
