Job description

As our HR Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support business goals, drive employee engagement and enhance organisational effectiveness. This is a standalone, generalist role where you will play a critical role in managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, employee relations and culture-building initiatives.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Responsible for all employee contractual relations and keeping records up to date.
  • Handle all employee relations and conflict resolution, coaching managers where needed and monitoring employee related risks.
  • Prepare payroll with Finance, and manage payroll for those employed via an Employer of Record (EOR).
  • Implement performance review processes and coach managers on feedback best practices.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and employment regulations, working with our EOR provider where necessary.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programmes, including renewal cycles.
  • Previous experience of working in start-ups / SME's will be beneficial
  • CIPD qualified or any other relevant HR qualification will be beneficial
  • Knowledge of HR software is mandatory and a key requirement
  • Good command in MS office
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practices and compliance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a hands‑on approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships
