Join Our Team as a Human Resources Business Partner (Maternity Cover)

Brynmawr Learning Action Centre / Agile | 30 hours per week

Fixed Term: January 2026 — March 2027

Grade 6 | Car User Allowance | Enhanced DBS Required

Are you a passionate and proactive HR professional looking to make a real impact? Aneurin Leisure Trust is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries and managing the HR mailbox
  • Supporting the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and changes to terms
  • Leading on attendance management and supporting wellbeing initiatives
  • Coaching and advising managers on HR policies and complex employee relations issues
  • Coordinating training and development, including HR toolkits for managers
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring GDPR compliance
What We’re Looking For
  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) Essential
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience in HR systems (e.g., iTrent, Planday) Desirable
  • A proactive, supportive, and solutions‑focused approach
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
