HR Business Partner

Our client, a well-known Public Sector employer, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers hybrid working arrangements, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week working from the central Yorkshire offices.

As HR Business Partner, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across the organization to support, advise, and lead on all people matters, help implement a new People Strategy, and play a pivotal role in its development at a local level. This role has a broad scope and will provide high-level expert HR advisory support to Directors and senior managers on complex issues such as discipline, grievance, sickness absence, workforce planning, recruitment, talent management, succession planning, performance management, and diversity. You will also provide line management support to an HR Adviser.

Requirements include:

  1. Professional qualification in HR Management (CIPD or equivalent)
  2. Proven experience in a generalist HR environment in a similar partnering role
  3. Previous experience in a unionized, public sector organization
  4. Experience in consulting and negotiating with Trade Union representatives
  5. Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and professional HR issues
  6. Good awareness of organizational change management
  7. Experience in Talent Management and Succession Planning

The role offers a starting salary of £48,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus Public Sector benefits, including a very generous pension, annual leave arrangements, and other family-friendly benefits.
