Job summary

Salutem Care and Education is seeking a senior HR Business Partner based at Beaumont College, Lancaster, with regular travel to all other college sites. You will lead on HR projects, coach managers to foster a positive culture, and manage performance issues, while advising on complex employee relations matters.

This senior role requires CIPD Level 7 or equivalent, strong employment law knowledge, and extensive generalist HR experience, preferably in the care sector.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 7 or equivalent experience in a senior HR role.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, including TUPE and redundancy.
• Proven experience in generalist HR at a senior level (care sector experience desirable).
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, under pressure, and to deadlines.
• Proactive, dynamic, and results-focused with a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Drive the implementation of the People Plan to meet business goals.
• Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant, consistent, and up to date.
• Lead strategic HR projects and integrations.
• Coach and train managers on HR processes and best practice.
• Manage complex disciplinary, grievance, and performance cases.
• Oversee change initiatives such as TUPE transfers and restructures.
• Produce insightful HR reports and analyse trends to drive improvement.
• Line manage HR Officers and mentor team members.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders.
• Deputise for the Director of HR & Resourcing when required.

About The Role

As a HR Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in delivering our people strategy and supporting the business to achieve its objectives.
