Location: London (Hybrid working – 3 days per week in the office)
We are looking for a Junior HR Business Partner for one of our clients in London to provide comprehensive HR support across a range of business functions. The role will work closely with managers and employees to deliver effective people solutions, support employee development, and contribute to HR initiatives and organisational improvements.
The successful candidate will provide practical HR advice across the employee lifecycle, helping to ensure that people processes are applied consistently and effectively. This role will also support the wider HR team in delivering a positive employee experience and strengthening HR's contribution to business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees across a range of people-related matters.
- Support organisational design, role development, and career pathways.
- Use HR systems and people data to support reporting, analysis, and informed decision-making.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and basic employment legislation, escalating complex matters when required.
- Support managers with employee relations cases and ensure processes are handled fairly and consistently.
- Assist managers with performance management processes, reviews, and follow‑up actions.
- Support employee development initiatives, career progression, and coaching opportunities.
- Support key HR processes, including onboarding, employee changes, and exits.
- Assist with annual pay reviews, bonus processes, and other reward‑related activities.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and the implementation of related action plans.
- Provide support with interviews and recruitment‑related activities as required.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving processes and employee experience.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor, Junior HR Business Partner, or similar HR role.
- Experience providing HR advice and support to managers and employees.
- Good understanding of HR policies, employment practices, and employee relations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to support and advise managers on people‑related matters.
- Experience using HR systems and interpreting people data.
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
- Ability to contribute to change initiatives and HR projects.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A collaborative, resilient, and curious approach to work.
- Previous experience across wider HR functions, such as Learning & Development, Employee Relations, or HR Shared Services, would be beneficial.
