Job Purpose

Weatherford is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Aberdeen, UK. This role will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing comprehensive HR support and guidance to drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. The successful candidate will align HR initiatives with business objectives while ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and company policies.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support on complex employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary matters, and grievances.
  • Lead recruitment and selection processes, working closely with hiring managers to attract and retain top talent.
  • Lead and deliver defined HR projects, ensuring effective implementation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
  • Support organizational design and change management initiatives.
  • Analyze workforce data and metrics to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law and company policies.
  • Coordinate and deliver training and development programs.
  • Support the implementation of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with the global HR team on international initiatives and best practices.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to line managers on people management issues.
Qualifications & Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner or similar role.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry or similar industrial environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing complex employee relations cases.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Change management experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
