Seymour John Ltd in Herefordshire is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide strategic guidance and hands-on operational support across a broad range of people-related matters within a manufacturing environment.

This fixed-term contract (14-16 months) involves partnering with managers, handling employee relations, recruitment support, policy review, and driving change programmes while maintaining UK employment law compliance.

Formación

• Proven experience in a generalist HR role or HR business partnering position.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification, or equivalent, or currently working towards it.

Responsabilidades

• Provide proactive HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and capability matters.
• Support recruitment, workforce planning, onboarding and talent development.
• Review and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation.
• Coach managers on effective people management practices and employee engagement.
• Support organisational change, employee consultations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate HR records, produce people‑related reports and support HR projects.
• Contribute to a positive workplace culture and the development of effective people strategies.

My client is seeking an experienced and commercially minded HR Business Partner to join their established organisation within the manufacturing sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working closely with managers and employees, providing both strategic guidance and hands‑on operational support across a broad range of people‑related matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide proactive HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and capability matters.

About You

• A proactive, organised and commercially aware approach.
• Experience within manufacturing would be advantageous but is not essential.
