Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a start-up specialist to deploy the HUGO RAS system in hospitals across the UK. You will manage installation, training, and integration of robotic-assisted surgery programs, collaborating with surgeons and staff to ensure smooth adoption.

The role requires a Biomedical Engineering or nursing background, 2+ years of OR experience, and willingness to travel mainly in the UK & Ireland. A competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or related field.
  • Fluent in English; other languages a plus.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK & Ireland (>75%).
  • Demonstrable experience of 2+ years, including operating rooms and surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with robotic program stakeholders and develop goals and metrics for HUGO RAS‑system.
  • Develop a surgeon training plan and coordinate off‑site training with proctored cases.
  • Create staff training plans and support staff through their learning curve.
  • Support technology adoption by participating in cases during learning sessions.
  • Use change management to engage clinical stakeholders and gain buy‑in.
  • Coach hospital staff to promote skill transfer and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate with Medtronic FSE and hospital staff to prepare OR for HUGO RAS‑system.
