A health regulatory body in the UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead key projects within their Data, Technology & Development team. This home-based role includes leadership responsibilities, project monitoring, and stakeholder management. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and project management experience. The position offers 32.5 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, and NHS pension scheme membership.
Salary:Band 4 - From £56,400 per annum - £73,710 per annum, successful candidates can expect to be appointed at the minimum salary

The Human Tissue Authority’s (HTA’s) primary goal is to protect publicand professional confidence in the safe and ethical use of human tissue. We are the national independent regulator for organisations that remove, store and use tissue for research, medical treatment, post‑mortem examination, teaching and public display. We also approve organ and bone marrow donations from living people. With the interests of the public and those we regulate at the centre of our work, we aim to maintain confidence by ensuring that human tissue is used safely and ethically, with proper consent.
A unique opportunity has become available for a Project Manager to join our Data, Technology & Development team. The post holder will play a key part in supporting the HTA to achieve its vision by providing project and programme leadership to a range of priority areas which support the Human Tissue Authority’s strategy. Reporting to the Director of Data, Technology & Development and with strong Project Management experience, the post holder will be the point of contact for projects and programmes of work in the portfolio and will have excellent communication skills. This is a leadership role with line management responsibilities that extend to key programmes of work. The postholder will oversee effective and accurate project monitoring and reporting to support successful delivery.

Remote working option* Standard contracts available are home‑working (an average of 3 days in the office each month) or office‑based (minimum of 1 day a week in the office).
We are looking for an experienced project and programme manager with wider leadership ambition. The postholder must have experience developing and maintaining suitable project plans, ensuring work‑stream tasks are clearly identified, tracked and resource requirements and usage effectively monitored. The role will also need to co‑ordinate delivery of programmes where the resource and responsibilities cut across the wider organisation. You will have experience organising and facilitating Working Group meetings, ensuring minutes are accurately recorded and tracking actions with a focus on successful delivery. Excellent communication skills both written and oral and confidence engaging with and managing stakeholder relationships effectively is crucial. To be successful, you will share a passion for what we do and how we do our work, support our corporate vision and mission, display and own behaviours consistent with our corporate values, and be able to demonstrate resilience and flexibility in managing uncertainty and ambiguity while remaining focused on outcomes.
