Job summary

BMJ-TAG is a Centre of Excellence for HTA, recruiting a Clinical Evidence Analyst to conduct rigorous evaluations of clinical effectiveness for NICE appraisals. You will lead HTA analyses, critique submissions, and contribute to reviews and reports within a multidisciplinary team.

You will manage complex projects, apply advanced statistical methods, and communicate findings to decision-makers, helping NHS decisions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the NICE HTA process and submissions.
• Experience as lead/co-lead on HTA submissions to NICE or similar bodies.
• Experience critiquing advanced evaluations of clinical effectiveness.
• Experience presenting results to appraisal committees.
• Experience in project management of HTA projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as clinical lead for HTA projects including STAs, MTAs, and other appraisals.
• Take full technical responsibility for analyses and report development.
• Critique clinical evidence submissions for NICE HTA processes.
• Lead production of systematic reviews and develop search strategies.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to BMJ-TAG standards.
