Job summary

SP Energy Networks in Motherwell is seeking an HSQE Advisor – Systems Lead to manage and improve quality systems, lead IMS processes, and align with ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001.

The role covers auditing, document control, risk management, and governance reporting, with hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 at home) and a starting salary from £45,400.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., 9001, 14001, 18001) and applying them to business processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong planning and analytical abilities.
• Experience collaborating with Contractors and delivering work programmes independently.
• Engineering/Construction background with proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within SP Energy Networks area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the business audit plan for internal and external stakeholders and monitor corrective actions.
• Manage Transmission Network Operations document library and lead document/policy reviews and updates.
• Establish and communicate IMS processes and map business process flows.
• Maintain risk management framework and governance with respect to H&S, Quality and Environment.
