Are you a HSEQ Manager or senior HSEQ professional from a manufacturing background, looking for an opportunity to shape standards, develop a team and drive improvements across a well-established British manufacturer?
Do you want to join a business with over 100 years of engineering expertise, in a newly created role offering the autonomy to lead Health, Safety, Environment and Quality across four UK sites?
This established manufacturer provides a complete service covering the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of specialist lighting infrastructure. Supplying sectors including highways, airports, ports, telecommunications and sports, the business delivers projects for customers across the UK and internationally.
Following continued growth, they are looking for a Group HSEQ Manager to take ownership of their management systems, certifications and audit programme. Reporting directly to the Technical Director, you will lead a team of QA Technicians across three manufacturing sites and work with colleagues throughout the group to build a consistent safety and quality culture.
You will oversee ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification, lead incident investigations and drive practical improvements across manufacturing and project activities. You will also act as the main contact for regulators and certification bodies, while maintaining accreditations that support the sales and contracting teams.
This role would suit a HSEQ professional from a manufacturing, engineering or project-based environment who is ready to take ownership of a group-wide function. Steel or welding experience would be beneficial, although candidates from other manufacturing backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitable candidates.
