The Role

We’re looking for an experienced HSEQ Manager to provide hands-on leadership and expert guidance across our operations. You’ll drive safety performance, support compliance with ISO standards, engage directly with teams and promote a strong proactive safety culture. Light-touch quality support is required but the primary focus is on Health, Safety and Environmental leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visible HSE leadership across sites and projects
  • Support risk assessments RAMS and safe systems of work
  • Carry out inspections, audits and incident investigations
  • Track HSE performance and recommend improvements
  • Support ISO 45001 / 14001 compliance and SSIP / client PQQ submissions
  • Review subcontractor HSE documentation
  • Deliver toolbox talks and promote behavioural safety
About You
  • Essential:
  • NEBOSH General Certificate construction or equivalent
  • HSE experience in construction, maintenance or engineering
  • Strong understanding of UK HSE legislation
  • Skilled in audits, incident investigation and root cause analysis
  • Confident communicator and influencer
  • Competent with Microsoft 365 and digital reporting tools
  • Full UK driving licence
Desirable
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards)
  • Internal Auditor qualification
