Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited is recruiting an HSEQ Advisor – Building Envelope to oversee health, safety, environment and quality across building envelope projects. The role is office-based in Preston with occasional site visits across the North West, supporting project teams and subcontractors to sustain high safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have proven HSEQ experience in façades, curtain walling, glazing or related systems, plus strong communication and leadership skills to drive

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a HSEQ Advisor, Manager, Officer or come from a closely related technical position.
• Technical understanding of commercial façades, curtain walling, cladding, aluminium windows, glazing & doors or a related building envelope system.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Customer focused and orientated.

Responsibilities

• Promote a range of building envelope projects as an HSEQ Advisor.
• May visit sites across the North West.
• Ensure standards are maintained throughout project delivery.
• Review and monitor risk assessments, method statements and site-specific health and safety documentation.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams, site managers and subcontractors to promote a strong health and safety culture.
• Assist with incident investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement of HSEQ procedures and management systems.
