Job summary

SES Energy Ltd. in Aberdeen seeks an experienced HSEQ Advisor to ensure health, safety and environmental compliance across UK operations. The role covers legislative updates, audits, training, risk assessment support and incident investigations.

You will maintain registers, support line managers on workplace assessments and lead HSEQ inductions, with opportunities to influence improvements and share best practices within the team.

Qualifications

• Previous HSEQ experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of the risk assessment process.

Responsibilities

• Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all legislation and developments affecting the Company’s activities.
• Maintain legal registers (health and safety, and environmental).
• Arrange health surveillance and ensure assessments and first aid risk assessments are completed.
• Work with Operations to manage vibration exposure in line with legislation and health advice.
• Lead in-house training with managers and employees about HSEQ issues and risks.
• Assist line managers to identify training needs and deliver training programmes as appropriate.
• Undertake new start HSEQ inductions and contribute to annual HSEQ objectives.
• Assist with audits, incidents recording, investigations, and reporting for managers.

Education

NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent

Internal auditor

Knowledge of Aviation legislation / Norwegian requirements (advantageous)

Knowledge of SharePoint (advantageous)
