Job summary

A leading electrical contractor in the UK is seeking a Health Safety, Environment and Training Manager. This role involves providing safety leadership, developing health and safety policies, and championing a proactive safety culture. The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH Certificate, experience in electrical or construction projects, and strong interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include conducting safety audits, managing training programs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This position offers a salary of £60-65K depending on experience, covering national projects based out of Bristol.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical and construction-based projects.
• CDM qualifications or project experience.
• Strong experience with IT software, who is aware of emerging technologies.
• Understanding of public facing environments ideally in events and production.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent advice to Directors and COO for informed decision-making about safety.
• Develop and maintain Health and Safety policies complying with UK legislation.
• Provide safety leadership to Site Supervisors and Project Managers.
• Champion a positive safety culture and encourage engagement.
• Conduct regular safety audits to ensure safe working conditions.
