Job summary

A leading health and safety company in Huddersfield is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment Officer on a 12-month FTC. In this role, you will support HSE initiatives, conduct risk assessments, and manage HSE training. Candidates should have a NEBOSH Diploma and a minimum of 3 years practical HSE experience in manufacturing, ideally in food or pharmaceuticals. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of practical HSE experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Commitment to obtain or hold an IEMA Certificate in Environment or Sustainability.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Support and deputise for the Head of HSE.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures.
• Coordinate and manage site Health & Safety meetings.
