Job summary

A leading chemicals manufacturer in West Yorkshire seeks an experienced HSE Manager to lead improvement projects on their upper-tier COMAH site. The role involves advisory support on process safety audits, development of frameworks, and enhancement recommendations. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of Process Safety and COMAH regulations, and project management capabilities. This contract role offers £60–70/hr outside IR35 for a duration of 6 months or longer.

Qualifications

• Experienced HSE Manager with a strong understanding of Process Safety and COMAH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory support for process safety audit outcomes.
• Develop an accelerated PHA completion framework.
• Advise on Safety First focus group initiatives.
• Facilitate the behavioural improvement program design.
• Advise on Safety-First leadership development.
• Assess and advise on safety management system enhancements.
• Review and recommend enhancements to the COMAH report.
