Qualifications

• Proven experience in HSE management within construction, civil, or petrochemical engineering.
• Strong understanding of current UK HSE legislation and industry best practices.
• Clean driving license and access to vehicle for site visits.

• Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments.

Ourclient,locatedintheMiddlesbrougharea,isseekingaHealth,Safety&Environmental(HSE)ManagerwithprovenexperienceinConstruction,CivilorPetrochemicalEngineering.Thisisakeyleadershiprole,responsiblefordrivingtheHSEstrategy,ensuringcompliance,andfosteringastrongsafetycultureacrossalloperationalareas.

KeyResponsibilities

• Develop,implement,andmaintainthecompanysHSEstrategy,policies,andmanagementsystems
• Conductsiteaudits,inspections,andriskassessmentstoensurecomplianceandidentifyimprovementopportunities
• ProvideexpertHSEadviceandguidancetoprojectteamsandoperationalstaff
• Leadinvestigationsintoincidentsandnear-misses,performrootcauseanalysis,andimplementcorrectiveactions
• DeliverHSEtraining,inductions,andtoolboxtalkstopromoteawarenessandengagementacrossalllevels
• MaintainandupdateallHSEdocumentation,procedures,andreports
• Liaisewithexternalstakeholdersincludingclients,regulatoryauthorities,andauditors
• Promoteacultureofcontinuousimprovementandbestpracticeacrosstheorganisation

KeyRequirements

• ProvenexperienceinanHSEmanagementrolewithinconstruction,civil,orpetrochemicalengineering
