Job description
Why us?

We will be the biggest XXXL Monopile factory in the world servicing the offshore wind industry.

Are you ready to be part of the most significant opportunity unfolding right at your doorstep?

As the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager at SeAH Wind, you will lead, develop, implement and continuously improve its HSE strategies, management systems and processes. You'll be the company's key expert and advisor on all matters related to health, safety and environmental management, ensuring full compliance with legal, regulatory and corporate standards while fostering a strong culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the business.

In this role, you'll act as the competent person and central point of contact for HSE across the organisation. You'll design and implement mid- to long-term health, safety and environmental plans, establish and maintain robust standards, and oversee all aspects of risk management - from plant inspections and hazardous work approvals to fire safety and gas system supervision. You'll also take ownership of emissions management, waste and wastewater control, and the continuous improvement of workplace conditions to safeguard employee wellbeing and environmental performance.

You'll be responsible for managing internal and external audit systems, maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, and ensuring SeAH Wind meets all UK HSE legislation and international compliance standards. You'll lead by example, driving proactive safety practices, investigating incidents, developing corrective and preventive action plans, and setting meaningful KPIs that deliver measurable improvements across the business.

As a people leader, you'll guide and mentor the HSE team, fostering a collaborative and accountable culture that empowers individuals to take ownership of safety. You'll also coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities, chair or support the occupational safety and health committee, and manage complex cases involving incidents, litigation or occupational illness when required.

To succeed in this role, you'll hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health, Safety or Environmental Management-or bring significant relevant experience. You'll have a deep understanding of UK HSE legislation, ISO standards and international compliance frameworks such as USP and EU regulations. Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in HSE and business management software.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact within a forward-thinking organisation, shaping the future of health, safety and environmental excellence at SeAH Wind.

In return, we can offer an attractive base salary, 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, a 5% employer pension contribution, Private Medical Insurance and Medicash.

At SeAH Wind we are committed to developing a diverse workforce and creating an inclusive environment for all employees. Our aim is to build a workplace that attracts the most talented people and creates an environment that fosters courtesy and mutual respect.
