Responsibilities

• Take ownership and accountability of health, safety, and environmental policies, KPIs, and reporting.
• Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation.
• Manage all prework required for internal and external H&S audits, coordinating with auditors and identifying action plans.
• Raise and manage the annual H&S Action Plan and on-site H&S training plan.
• Conduct incident trend analysis and monitor statistics to improve safety standards.

Skills

NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health

Competent IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Operational/Managerial experience in a logistics/transport environment

Excellent communication skills with experience in delivering training/briefings

Audit qualification (desirable)
