Job summary

A leading global energy company in Exeter is seeking an HSE Client Representative to oversee Health and Safety compliance across a 50MW Solar PV project. Responsibilities include monitoring contractor performance, conducting inspections, and ensuring legal compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in HSE roles for large-scale solar projects. This is a contract role with a hybrid working arrangement and an expected duration of approximately 12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review contractor HSE performance on-site.
  • Conduct inspections, audits and toolbox reviews.
  • Support incident reporting, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
  • Review RAMS, safety documentation and ensure legal compliance.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture throughout delivery.

Skills

Experience in HSE roles on large-scale Solar or similar construction projects
Knowledge of EPC and ICP delivery environments
Strong understanding of UK construction HSE standards and frameworks
Ability to act as client-side representative while working closely with contractors

A leading global energy company is seeking an HSE Client Representative to oversee Health and Safety compliance across a 50MW Solar PV project located near Exeter.

The role will support the client by ensuring contractors comply with site standards, legislation and industry best practice throughout the construction lifecycle.
