What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead on all Health, Safety and Environmental matters across a busy food manufacturing site.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and implement systems to ensure full legal compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Investigate incidents and implement preventative actions.
  • Develop and deliver training to promote safe working practices across the site.
  • Drive environmental initiatives to reduce waste, energy, and water usage.
  • Work closely with the management team to shape long‑term strategies around safety culture, sustainability, and site improvements.
What You’ll Need
  • Previous hands‑on experience in a health & safety role within manufacturing (food or FMCG preferred).
  • NEBOSH Certificate (Diploma desirable) or equivalent qualification.
  • A proactive, engaging approach – comfortable working with everyone from shop floor to senior leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of SHE management systems and environmental compliance.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to embed a culture of safety and responsibility.
