Job summary

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma is required; Diploma in Health & Safety advantageous.
• Manufacturing HSE experience is essential.
• Facilities management experience in a manufacturing/industrial site.
• Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation.
• Experience with process safety, HAZOP, DSEAR/ATEX and COSHH.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Environmental compliance experience including hazardous waste and effluent/wastewater handling.
• Contractor management experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Support utilities, energy management and sustainability initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote a strong safety-first culture.

HSE & Facilities Manager - Manufacturing

Location: Tewkesbury

Salary: £60,000 per annum

Contract type: Permanent

We are recruiting for an experienced HSE & Facilities Manager to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Tewkesbury.

This is a senior, hands-on position with responsibility for Health, Safety, Environmental and Facilities management across the site. The successful candidate will act as the business's HSE subject matter expert while taking ownership of the site's facilities function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all Health, Safety and Environmental activities across the site

The Ideal Candidate

• NEBOSH qualified - Diploma advantageous
• Strong HSE experience within manufacturing, chemical or another high-risk industrial environment
• Previous facilities management experience within a manufacturing/industrial site
• Good knowledge of UK HSE and environmental legislation
• Experience with process safety, HAZOP, DSEAR/ATEX and COSHH
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Environmental compliance experience, ideally including hazardous waste and effluent/water treatment
• Strong contractor and facilities management experience
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

This position would suit an experienced HSE & Facilities Manager, EHS & Facilities Manager, HSE Manager, EHS Manager, SHE Manager or SHEQ Manager with a strong manufacturing background.
