Overview

HSE Coordinator – Location: Milton Keynes (On-site). Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum. Contract: Full-Time, Permanent. Reports to: Senior HSE Advisor.

About the Role

As our HSE Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the implementation of our Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) strategy. You’ll work closely with the Senior HSE Advisor to promote a positive safety culture, ensure legal compliance, and support continuous improvement across all HSE activities.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about safety, who enjoys working collaboratively across all levels of the business.

Responsibilities
  • Support and conduct risk assessments and implement effective control measures.
  • Assist with legislative compliance and HSE management systems.
  • Carry out audits, inspections, and monitoring activities.
  • Support incident investigations, corrective actions, and reporting.
  • Deliver HSE training and awareness sessions.
  • Support waste management and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Contribute to HSE committee meetings, promoting engagement and safety culture.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports.
  • Support emergency arrangements and physical site security.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and site visits.
  • Work proactively to identify opportunities for improvement and share best practice.
Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental practices or relevant operational exposure.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and administrative skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to compliance and risk management.
  • Confidence using technology and digital systems.
  • A passion for learning and developing HSE expertise.
