I am lucky enough to be partnered with a well know brand in the consumer goods industry and they have asked me to search for a qualified and experienced HSE Co-ordinator to join a busy and growing team as this business due to massive investment is a site and business that is growing

What you will be doing:
  • Supporting the HSE department to effectively implement and develop the Health and Safety systems
  • Investigate accidents as part of a team to identify root cause
  • Conduct risk assessments and assist departments to implement safe working practices across departments
  • Conducting safety induction for new starters and external contractors
  • Source, liaise and book safety training from external providers
  • Support the compliance and audits as and when they happen
  • Ensure all documentation is up to date and maintained.
  • Ensure all site waste is being disposed of as per Environmental legislation
  • PPE stock control and administrate the issuing where it's needed
Skills Experience
  • NEBOSH General certificate (or working towards)
  • Proven experience of working in a H&S role
  • A working knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001
  • Some experience of auditing is desirable
  • Excellent communicator at all levels both verbally and written
  • Strong IT Skills
  • Able to work autonomously and pro-actively
  • Organised and able to work under pressure
