Job summary

PBS (Ponticelli UK Ltd) is seeking an HSE Advisor to support the operations team in health, safety and environment. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with UK regulations and company standards to protect people, assets and the environment, while promoting a culture of safety across offshore and onshore sites.

You will lead risk assessments, audits and incident investigations. Responsibilities include developing policies, delivering training, reporting metrics, and liaising with regulators

Qualifications

• Essential: NEBOSH General Certificate, NVQ or equivalent HSE qualification
• Desirable: Experience in offshore Energy sector operations
• Essential: BOSIET/FOET and associated mandatory certification
• Desirable: Experience of environmental legislation and systems
• Desirable: Experience of sustainability
• Desirable: Experience in Emergency Response
• Desirable:Experience of COSHH and Occupational Health programmes

Responsibilities

• Provide HSE guidance and support to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure the effectiveness of control measures.
• Develop and deliver HSE training and awareness programs to promote a safety-conscious culture.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and systems.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors to maintain compliance and support the resolution of any issues.
• Prepare HSE reports and metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct regular offshore and site visits as required. Participate in accreditation and vendor auditing.
