Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor for a significant new build project in Birmingham. The role involves supporting HSW performance and achieving Zero Harm objectives, along with conducting site inspections and preparing reports. Candidates must have a relevant health and safety qualification and experience in construction projects. High-level security vetting is a requirement for this position.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have or be working toward Chartered Membership of IOSH.
• Ability to prepare formal written reports on Health, Safety & Wellbeing topics.
• Broad experience with complex construction and civils projects.

Responsibilities

• Understand and support delivery of UK HSW Strategy.
• Contribute to Zero Harm Action Plan implementation.
• Support delivery of HS&W Key Performance Indicators.
• Conduct regular site inspections and produce formal reports.
• Work with operational management on risk-based Service Level Agreements.
