Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a SHE Advisor in Teeside, responsible for ensuring compliance and providing professional SHE advice. Candidates must be British Citizens with NEBOSH certification and at least three years of experience in SHE within engineering or aviation.   • Internal Auditor and Environmental qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional SHE advice and guidance across the site.
  • Lead risk assessments, PUWER, COSHH and assurance activities.
  • Support managers to meet SHE standards and contractual obligations.
  • Deliver SHE training and promote a positive safety culture.
  • Contribute to development and review of SHE policies and procedures.

Skills

Knowledge of SHE legislation

Experience with audits and investigations

Education

NEBOSH General Certificate
Job description

Take ownership of safety, health and environmental standards in a technical engineering environment. Shape processes, influence colleagues and ensure compliance across key operations.

Salary

Uo To £41,000

What you will be doing
  • Provide professional SHE advice and guidance across the site
  • Lead risk assessments, PUWER, COSHH and assurance activities
  • Support managers to meet SHE standards and contractual obligations
  • Deliver SHE training and promote a positive safety culture
  • Contribute to development and review of SHE policies and procedures
Your experience
  • Strong knowledge of SHE legislation and best practice
  • Experience with audits, investigations and regulatory visits
  • Internal Auditor and Environmental qualifications desirable
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
