Job summary

Infinity Recruitment Consultancy Ltd is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor for a permanent role based in Huntingdon. You will support the management team to improve safety performance, investigate incidents, conduct root-cause analysis and roll out corrective measures across sites.

You will carry out site visits, promote HSE strategies, ensure compliance with ISO standards and manage audit follow-ups, risk assessments and record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a HSE role within construction.
• Experience with ISO 19001 and 45001.
• NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Hands-on site H&S practice knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety advice and support to management to improve safety performance.
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis; roll out corrective measures.
• Carry out site visits with senior management and promote HSE strategies.
• Ensure systems/databases are updated and information recorded; follow up after audits.
• Ensure legal compliance and adherence to company standards and regulations.

Job description

Our superb client based in Huntingdon is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join them on a permanent basis working 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

As HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for providing advice and support to the management team to improvement safety performance across the business, to support HSE matters / incidents and advocate continuous improvement. You will provide full investigate to understand root cause analysis and roll out measures to avoid future recurrences. You will carry out site visits across the business with senior management team, promote and adopt new HSE strategies, ensure relevant systems and databases are updated and information recorded, follow up after audits, ensuring legal compliance, adhering to company standards and regulations, prepare risk assessments, conduct audits, inspections and investigate accidents and many more related and relevant HSE duties.

To be considered for the role of HSE Advisor, you will have:-

• A minimum of 5 years working within the construction sector within a HSE role
• Experience with ISO 19001 and 45001
• NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate in Occupational H & S
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Great problem solving ability
• Strong working knowledge of site based H&S practices
