Job summary

enfinium seeks an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager for the Kelvin project in Sandwell. You will lead HSE strategy, promote a strong safety culture and liaise with regulators and local stakeholders to ensure the Waste-to-Energy facility operates safely and in compliance.

You will develop and oversee the Environmental Management System, coordinate audits, and drive monitoring programmes, reporting to senior management while embedding ISO standards and behavioural safety across

Qualifications

• Prioritises safety culture and behavioural safety.
• Experience embedding HSE across sites and teams.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Manage Environmental Management System compliance, audits, policies and documentation.
• Influence site personnel to engage in good HS practices.
• Deliver and report environmental monitoring and KPI reporting to SHEQ leadership.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual HSE/ESG reporting within timelines.
• Drive ownership of HSE reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
• Ensure permit, landscape and biodiversity plans meet specifications.
• Maintain Safe System of Work and Permit To Work processes.
• Meet environmental regulatory requirements and monitoring routines (ESA, IBA, QAL2/3, AST for CEMS).
• Perform root cause analyses and promote corrective actions across Kelvin and enfinium assets.
• Review data daily to identify trends and risks; ensure compliance with enfinium standards.
