Serco Limited in Solihull is seeking a seasoned People System Manager to lead our HRIS and Payroll Solutions teams during a major transformation of our HR and payroll landscape, including the adoption of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.

You will collaborate with Payroll, Pensions, Finance, IT and third-party partners to ensure HR and payroll systems are reliable, integrated and future-ready. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic system planning.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP HCM experience essential.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems in a complex org.
• Payroll system experience; ResourceLink is a plus.
• Track record delivering HRIS and payroll projects.
• Ability translate business needs to functional requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead HRIS and Payroll Solutions teams and set direction.
• Own HR systems operation with SAP HCM at heart.
• Drive system upgrades and Employee Central roadmap.
• Manage HRIS and payroll projects from requirements to testing.
• Oversee integrations between SAP HCM, payroll and ERP.
• Act as escalation point for HRIS/payroll issues.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate needs.
• Identify efficiencies and automation opportunities.
• Manage partnerships with technology suppliers.
