HRIS (iTrent) System Specialist

Location: London (Hybrid, 3 days per week on‑site)

Contract: Until 31 March 2026

Rate: Up to 450 per day, Inside IR35

Security Clearance: BPSS

Start: Immediate availability required

Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HRIS (iTrent) System Specialist to support a major HR service improvement programme. The position focuses on enhancing the efficiency and usability of the iTrent platform, improving data quality, and supporting core HR and payroll processes.

This role is ideal for an experienced iTrent specialist who enjoys hands‑on system work, collaborating with HR teams, and delivering meaningful improvements across digital HR platforms.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Leading the design, testing, deployment, review and rollout of system changes
  • Carrying out data cleansing and data quality improvements within iTrent
  • Troubleshooting system issues and responding quickly to errors or glitches
  • Delivering enhancements and new functionality, including managing new checklists
  • Working closely with HR colleagues to understand requirements and implement effective solutions
  • Participating in regular team meetings and contributing technical insight
  • Sharing expertise across the team and acting as the iTrent subject matter expert
What You Will Bring
  • Proven experience as an iTrent System Administrator or in a similar systems support role
  • Strong understanding of iTrent modules, especially HR, Payroll and Learning and Development
  • Confident in configuring workflows, batch processes, permissions and user roles
  • Skilled in data cleansing, maintenance and data conversion
  • Experience supporting user acceptance testing, system changes and system upgrades
  • Excellent understanding of HR and payroll processes and the importance of accurate data
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Comfortable working independently, providing progress updates and escalating issues when needed
  • A flexible and proactive mindset, with willingness to support wider system‑related tasks
