Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HRD Business Partner to join their busy HR Advice Team to provide comprehensive and professional HR advice in the areas of, organisational restructures, recruitment, business transfers and TUPE, employment legislation, terms and conditions of employment, policy and practice, discipline, grievance, attendance management, appraisal, performance management, pay and grading and equality. Successful candidates will work with managers to ensure that people strategies and plans are aligned to deliver the organisations aims and priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive and professional HR advice across various domains such as organisational restructures, recruitment, business transfers and TUPE, employment legislation, terms and conditions of employment, policy and practice, discipline, grievance, attendance management, appraisal, performance management, pay and grading, and equality.
  • Support the development and implementation of workforce strategies, HR policies, procedures and guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and manage risk.
  • Advising on workforce planning and recruitment strategy and policy.
  • Participate in and influence strategic discussions to support new ways of working.
  • Deliver high quality advice and support to managers and staff at all levels.

  • Proven track record of advising on complex employee relations matters.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal confidently and effectively with customers and colleagues.
