A global insurance and financial services provider in Camden Town is seeking a Head of HR to manage HR strategy and lead a team focused on talent acquisition and performance management. Applicants should have a degree and strong English communication skills, with experience in an international matrix company. Enhance workforce capabilities as per the defined Talent Strategy. Manage complex employee relations matters, providing expert guidance to managers on disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution. Develop and maintain compliant HR policies that align with local employment laws and corporate guidelines. Partner with central data teams to analyze HR metrics and develop data-driven, targeted solutions. What you bring: Understanding of the business that is advised as People Business Partner and engaging in customer relationship management. Broad knowledge of local labour legislation and knowledge of HR process landscape and organization.
The Head of HR advises and supports the business in all HR related matters along the HR value chain. Together with the business she/he develops and implements AzT strategy and local HR action plans and initiatives that align with the function and the branch overall objectives, in full compliance with local employment laws.
Develop and execute the UK HR strategy aligned with branch needs, identifying and implementing effective solutions & lead HR transformation projects as required, ensuring successful delivery and integration. Manage and lead the UK HR team, providing strategic guidance to ensure optimal performance & oversee comprehensive talent acquisition processes, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding. Develop and implement robust performance management programs, including evaluations and personalized career development plans. Collaborate with local business and central expert teams and managers to identify and fulfill upskilling needs that improve work situations, including basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
Degree and equivalent professional experience, ideally in an international matrix company. Fluent English language skills (written/ spoken). Competence to exchange complex information with diplomatic tact and to cooperate with a diverse internal and external audience. Ability to carry out tasks independently in non-standardised (ever-changing) environments.
