Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract based in Cambridge. The role involves providing HR support across diverse departments, managing complex employee relations cases, and supporting key HR projects. The successful candidate will exhibit strong stakeholder management skills and hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent. This position allows for a hybrid work model with 2 days on-site and 3 days remote.

Job description

My client is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner on a 12 months Fixed Term Contract to provide interim support. You'll work across a diverse academic and operational workforce, managing complex ER cases and supporting key HR projects.

Hybrid - Cambridge (2 days on site, 3 days Working From Home)

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver generalist HR support across multiple departments.

  • Partner with senior leaders to drive people initiatives.
  • Support HR projects and policy updates.
  • Maintain strong written communication and attention to detail.
About You
  • Proven HRBP or Senior HR Advisor experience.
  • Confident, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • CIPD Level 5+ (or equivalent).
