Job description

We are seeking a motivated and conscientious administrator to work within our fast‑paced HR Staff Bank Team. The HR Staff Bank team plays a pivotal role in the HR Team at Northumbria Healthcare, responsible for the deployment of bank and agency workers to support wards and departments across the Trust in response to increased patient activity, staff holidays or illness.

The post will be based at Northumbria House, Cobalt Business Park, but you may be required to work at other sites within the Trust. Our office is open 365 days a year and the opening hours are Monday‑Friday 8am‑6pm and Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays 8:30‑10:30am. A rota ensures the office is manned, and you should expect to work approximately one weekend in four.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a comprehensive flexible administrative Human Resources service to Bank Workers, Business Units and Agencies on queries relating to temporary staffing.
  • Maintain computerised Human Resources Systems/Records and Databases.
  • Provide a comprehensive administrative Human Resources Support service to approximately 6000 Bank Workers.
